The Grant Park Oktoberfest committee has just announced this year's theme ... "Small Town Proud"! This year marks Grant Park's 135th Birthday and the State of Illinois' 200th Birthday. What a great time to celebrate this once-in-a-lifetime event!
The Village of Grant Park is located in northeastern Kankakee County in the state of Illinois. The Village was incorporated in 1883. As of the 2010 census, there were 1,331 residents in the Village. Here you'll find a farm community with an excellent school system and community services. Our various businesses and community events will give you plenty of reasons to visit our little piece of the world.
